The Heel Is Only About 1 Inch In Height But Is Narrow Like A Pump, Not Chunky. There Is No Creasing In The Fabric On The Sides Or The Top At The Toe Bend. The Dark Line You See In The Photos Is The Shadow From The Bow. The Strap Is A Buckle Closure. They Have Been Buckled Closed In The Same Hole Since They Were Purchased Many Years Ago.
