Description
Y'2's Model 47 Single Rider Jacket is a touch more vintage-inspired than their other Model 42 and Model 65 Single Rider Jackets, with a roomier torso and detailed "action back". Still a handsome a subdued alternative to the classic double-rider jacket, the SHR-47 features a slightly distinguished, 1930s "Sportswear" vibe that could be dressed up if one desired Featuring a brass zipper, two welted handwarmer pockets, a single chest pocket, and button cuffs on the front, the back is where the real action is (see what I did there?). Cut with a Western yoke, adjustable side tabs with brass buckles, and two large inverted box pleats for additional ease of movement, it's both functional and handsome. It's made from Y'2's Sumi dye leather, a vegetable tanned 1.5mm tea core horsehide. Dyed with traditional Sumi ink from the Nara prefecture, this leather takes twice as long to finish due to the slow penetration of the antique coloring method. Sumi ink is derived from ash, and delivers an extremely rich and solid black coloration, that will gradually wear down and fade over time, revealing the natural interior of the leather. Inside, it's liked with a 100% cotton twill that's good for all seasons, with nylon sleeve linings for easy layering. Fits true to size. Do not wash, dry or dry clean. ~1.5mm Sumi dyed vegetable tanned horsehide Black tea core leather 100% cotton body lining Nylon sleeve lining Button cuffs Three external pockets Single internal pocket Corozo nut buttons Brass Universal zippers Action back with double inverted box pleats Adjustable side tabs with brass buckles Custom labels Fits true to size Made in Japan
